What Happens in Your First Liverpool Lesson?
Nervous about your first lesson? Don’t be — we’ll make it comfortable and enjoyable.
Once you’ve booked in with one of our local instructors, they’ll turn up on the agreed day & time. Bring your provisional driving license on your first lesson, and wear comfortable clothes.
1. Introduction & Assessment Your instructor picks you up at the agreed location and gets to know you. We’ll chat about your goals, any previous driving experience, and what you hope to achieve.
2. Car Familiarisation Before we start moving, you’ll learn about the vehicle controls, mirrors, seat adjustments, and essential safety checks. We’ll make sure you’re comfortable and understand everything.
3. Let’s Drive! Most first lessons include actual driving in a quiet nursery route area in Liverpool. You’ll learn the basics of moving off, steering, and stopping safely. We start simple and build your confidence gradually.
4. Progress Review At the end of your lesson, we’ll discuss what you’ve learned and plan what comes next — you may even get some homework! You’ll know exactly what to expect in future lessons and how we’ll get you test-ready.
