Nick's Quick Q&A

Why did you train to become a driving instructor?
I think the role offers huge responsibility and satisfaction. I also think it’s great to help pupils who want to progress to new found freedoms.

Favourite teaching area?
Southport – it offers lots of variation and it’s an area I know well

How old where you when you passed your driving test?
17 and I remember it well - the feeling of getting a pass was fantastic

Did you pass first time?
Yes, but I had a great instructor and I listened to everything he said. I have a lot to thank him for.

What was your first car and why did you pick it?
It was a Mini 1000 so kind of gone full circle really, it was a great car & my dad maintained it so even better ☺

If you could go back and give yourself any advice when you were learning to drive, what would it be?
Listen and look at the positives from each lesson, give yourself a huge pat on the back there’s a lot to learn and sometimes it’s not always easy.

Previous jobs? Sales & marketing within the greeting card industry for 30 years & I loved it.

Favourite holiday?
100% Greece without question

Favourite Road trip?
Ahh tough one but has to be Florida me and two mates travelled from Jacksonville all the way down to the Keys, Incredible but what goes on tour stays on tour!!

Favourite Food?
Mexican all the way……

What is your dream car?
To be honest I don’t really care as long as its reliable.

What music is in your glovebox?
Why did you have to ask this ? I’m a closet Take That fan but don’t judge me ☺ But I like everything from Eminem to Smooth FM, I know I’m sorry

When you aren’t teaching, where can we find you?
Cutting Grass or watching footy. I noticed you never asked what team I follow………..shall we leave it there ☺
