About Mike
I love my tennis. Got one slam(US) to do to complete the lot. Top of the list of things to do when we’re allowed to travel.
I’ve also just got a campervan with the help of friends and family. Currently doing it up. Hopefully explore this beautiful country of ours.
What’s the best part of being a driving instructor?
The best part of the job and the main reason I do it is to see the faces of my pupils when they’re told “I’m pleased to tell you you’ve passed”.
Your most memorable driving lesson?
It was the lesson before a 70 year old lady’s test. She desperately wanted to pass to get her independence after a bereavement. But was so nervous. It was a lot of calming talk. She then went on to pass. I’d like to say that I didn’t shed a little tear but I can’t.

Why did you pick your car to teach in?
The classic mini is my favourite car. Had 3 in my teens and early 20s, as I can no longer fit in one I love that the new mini was the next best thing. I love the fact that it’s different that the generic looking cars these days

What advice would you go back and give yourself when learning to drive?
Don’t wave at friends when you’re on your test haha
