Driving Lessons in Spotty Cars for Charity
We’re going spotty for Children In Need!
Our cars are going spotty and we think it’s very contagious! Once again we’re very proud to announce we are taking part in the Big Learner Relay for Children in Need, we’re especially proud to say we are the final lead car driving through Knowsley Safari park!
It’s a great honour to be asked to take part for a second year running and we’re currently in full preparation mode getting our cars spotty ready for you to sign.
What is the big learner relay?
This is the fourth year of the big learner relay (BLR) – essentially it is one big massive driving lesson spanning 15 days and 3,000 miles! Over the past 3 years an amazing £250,000 has been raised and hopefully this year we’ll raise even more. Starting the 1st November in Northern Ireland and ending 17th November at Knowsley Safari park, ADI Louise Walsh and her spotty roof sign sit in on 3000 miles of driving lessons swapping cars, instructors and pupils over 190 times to make her way across the UK to raise money.
How does it work?
Well it’s pretty simple, we’re covering each of our cars in different colour spots, that’s where you come in! You can sponsor a spot by texting a donation to children in need, then you can write on a spot and it will remain on the car until after Children in Need!
It’s a great cause and all money is donated through your mobile phone, it really doesn’t matter if you can afford £1 or £100, every single penny helps to go towards something great. We do ask for a minimum donation of £5 if you would like to sign a large spot.
Text SPOT64 followed by your amount to 70070
e.g. ‘SPOT64 10’ to donate £10. Please also support us with Gift Aid if you pay UK tax.
